I love… cosmetics made their own lines for Christmas! “Glitter & Gold” and “Shimmer & Sparkle” sadly I could only find the Glitter one this morning when I went gift shopping (well yes that’s a gift.. to myself.) Those are really, really good things to offer to a friend, sister, or anyone else you want. The smell is so sweet, it makes you SHINE and the packaging is the cutest ever.

My new perfume since a little month. It smells SO good - if you don’t know which fragrance to choose, for a gift or yourself, go for this one. Being a big fan of Elie Saab, I’m really happy his perfume is almost as gorgeous as his fashion work. The middle note develops into a jasmine absolute, a legendary flower in perfumery, imparting voluptuousness and elegance to the fragrance. It combines with a pure, modern patchouli heart. The base note unfolds into a cedar woody accord adding character and a lingering trail, while the honey rose envelops the composition in a beautifully addictive note.

A little part of my too big collection of mascara. I always find it hard to trust the commercial and packaging, yet I can’t help but buy it. I love the “Volum’ Express” collection from Maybelline, with a little preference for the cat eye’s one. Those aren’t too expensive, and well..they do add good volume. I heard the Bad Gal lash from Benefit is great and it’s probably the next one in my buying list! What is your favorite brand/line?

This morning I went to Sephora and bought this little set of shadow brushes from Too Faced. The packaging is just adorable, I love the color {pink, of course!} the fact that it’s stated “Made with Teddy Bear Hair” - how so cute - and it wasn’t too pricey. I often buy new brushes, I hate cleaning them. Talking about this, never forget to clean your make up brushes at least once a month! {one time a week would be perfect.} I know it’s very boring, but bacterias collect too easily on them. I personally use olive oil & shampoo but MAC have a brush cleanser that works perfectly. I have to admit that I love Too Faced more and more, everything is just too pretty. I can’t think of a French brand with cute make up and cosmetics like this, such a shame {minus all the Hello Kitty things we can have.} I also bought again my new favorite palette from Benefit {I talked about it here!}. I was mostly looking for a new perfume but couldn’t really make up my mind, I will decide later once I worn all my little samples and see which one last longer, and smell the nicest on my skin. I’m thinking about Trésor in Love from Lancôme. I wore it all afternoon and it smells so nice. I really wish I could have a big collection of all the lovely perfumes bottles I love, and wear one different each days, depending on my mood.. :)

I’m not the biggest user of eyeshadow. I always end up buying a ton of them for the pretty packaging or colors and use them once, then give up, because it’s just not the result I wished for. Before this kit, my daily routing on my eyes consisted of black eyeliner and a ton of mascara only. One of my best friend is a make-up artist and I’m lucky enough to get to try a ton of products, and get his great advices. I have to say that this little kit from Benefit is just amazing! It IS a must have for any girls. All you need to do is follow the super simple instructions, add your favorite mascara, and your eyes really are big and beautiful!
